A Brand New Star

What a wonderful, glorious night we had last Wednesday at our 6th Annual Christmas Pageant! Over 333 were in attendance as our youth did an excellent job in presenting “A Brand New Star!” Even though there were a few glitches, everyone rose to the occasion. Our young people continue to amaze us with their abilities, willingness to help, and sweet spirits. Debby and I could not be more proud!

Thank you to all who helped in any way. (Please see back of program for acknowledgements). As we continue on in the holiday season, let’s remember these 3 aspects of the “the greatest story ever told”:

In God’s hands, a crude manger in Bethlehem surrounded by common people became a symbol of devotion.

In God’s hands, a savior in child form came to walk this earth and save humanity from sin.

It was God’s hands, that placed a brand new star in the sky for all the world to see.

Matthew 2:9-10

9 After hearing the king, they went their way; and the star, which they had seen in the east, went on before them until it came and stood over the place where the Child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.

A Great Mystery Resolved

2015 Christmas Program

What a wonderful, glorious night we had last Wednesday at our 5th Annual Christmas Pageant! Over 382 were in attendance as our youth did an

excellent job in presenting “The Great Manger Mystery!” Even though there were a few glitches (Wylee, did you really make your brother sick so you could have his part?), everyone rose to the occasion. Our young people continue to amaze us with their abilities, willingness to help, and sweet spirits.
Debby and I could not be more proud!
Thank you to all who helped in any way. (Please see back of program for acknowledgements). It is no “mystery” to us how everyone pitches in to make events like this a success—we can see Him in you

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28
